Kayleigh Crouch

Research & Policy Officer

Kayleigh joined CEIA in May 2023 as Research and Policy Officer, working closely with Kate across all the activities of the centre. She is supporting the follow-on work from the AUC research strategy project, and researching the UK's agricultural knowledge and innovation landscape.

She is currently completing a PhD at the University of Bristol (summer 2023). Her research explored the use of complementary and alternative medicines on UK dairy farms and their influence on antibiotic use. She used qualitative research methods to better understand the perspectives and attitudes of dairy farmers and key stakeholders in the dairy sector.

Kayleigh previously studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare MRes, BSc (Hons) at Hartpury University (University of the West of England). Her research focused on the effects of environmental enrichment on dairy cow welfare. Kayleigh has a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) after teaching in the Animal and Agriculture science departments at Hartpury University for 2 years.
